2026 Obligatory Qurbani Organization

As Diversity Farklılık Association, as in every year, this year we also spent Eid al-Adha together with those in need in various regions of Africa. Our aim was to slaughter the obligatory Qurbani sacrifices we received by proxy, thereby enabling our donors to fulfill their religious obligations, while also delivering the spiritual value of Eid to even the most remote corners. In this regard, we carried out our Qurbani slaughtering and distribution activities with great care in The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Niger, and Mali.

Preparation Process

In order to carefully monitor every stage of the process, we began preparations months in advance. In cooperation with our local partner organizations, we conducted detailed needs assessments in the regions where the Qurbani slaughtering and distribution would take place. Based on these assessments, we prioritized the areas with the greatest need and determined the slaughtering locations.

Qurbani Slaughtering

We began the Qurbani slaughtering process on the first day of Eid and carried it out in accordance with religious obligations, while observing hygiene rules. Special teams were formed to ensure that each sacrifice was recorded accurately and completely. These teams prayed on behalf of the Qurbani donors and worked with great care at every stage of the slaughtering process. The selection and slaughtering of the sacrificial animals were carried out in accordance with Islamic rules.

Distribution Process

The distribution of Qurbani meat began immediately after the slaughtering process was completed. We acted in coordination with our local partners to deliver the meat to those in need. We especially prioritized people living in the poorest and hardest-to-reach areas. During the distribution, we made careful plans to ensure that each family benefited from the meat equally and fairly. In every region we visited, we were welcomed with the warm interest of the local people and received their prayers and thanks.

Social and Economic Contributions

Our Eid al-Adha activities not only fulfilled a religious obligation, but also provided social contributions. In addition, thanks to our meat distributions, many families had the opportunity to consume meat perhaps only during this period of the year, which helped improve their nutrition.

Our Future Goals

As Diversity Farklılık Association, we will continue our work in the future with the same determination and commitment. We stand by those in need in Africa not only during Eid al-Adha, but throughout the entire year. We touch their lives, nurture their hopes, and become a means for lasting change. We will continue to reach more people and touch more lives.

Thanks and Wishes

On this occasion, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to our Eid al-Adha activities. Every donation became a helping hand reaching those in need and a smile on their faces. May Allah accept your good deeds and grant that your kindness returns to you many times over.

May your Eid be blessed once again, with the hope of being together on many more Eids.

Respectfully.
